Hello everyone! There’s been a lot of chatter and questions about what’s next with MCC Island, so I thought it was about time to share some information on what’s coming! Overall, the launch of MCC Island’s Closed Beta has been a surprising success; we saw A LOT more players enter the island than we expected! I’m genuinely surprised by how consistent the player counts have been, counting the fact that we haven’t really been releasing any major content, and the doors are still closed! I will say that the paid options of access massively helped out in paying back some of the development costs, so I want to extend an extra thank you to everybody who has helped in funding by purchasing any of the tickets :) (and, of course, you’ll keep...
Two patches in one week?! That's right, Patch 0.4.5 has just gone live! In this patch you'll find a cool new feature to help you decide what games to play when you're in a rush as well as few bug fixes. Game Popularity We’ve added some information into the navigator and game lobby teleports to help understand where the majority of the players are, giving a better understanding of game queue times 🙂 Bug Fixes Sky Battle will now display a "Victory!" title when you win, replacing the old "Game Over" title. Fixed an issue that was slowing down server connections, occasionally causing players to be disconnected when they switch between servers.
Patch 0.4.4 has dropped! In this patch you'll find a few parity changes and minor bug fixes. Game Changes Changed Sike Walls in Hole in the Wall to behave just like in the event; they now stay around for a few seconds after reaching the platform instead of breaking immediately. Changed death drops in Sky Battle to drop slightly more spread out like in the event. Bug Fixes Fixed an issue that could cause cosmetics to unequip randomly when you join a server. Made some anti-cheat improvements that should reduce the number of hackers in TGTTOS and Battle Box. Fixed a rare issue that could cause the action bar and boss bar to not display.
Patch 0.4.3 has been released, containing a small collection of QoL updates and bug fixes. Inventory Layout Saving Games will now save your inventory layout for future rounds and games! All you need to do is organize your items as you want during the pre-round countdown and your items will be arranged in the same way again the next time you play. Model Performance Changes We've implemented a custom culling system for our entity models in game lobbies and the main hub. This means that models you can't see (such as furniture pieces that are behind walls) will be hidden more efficiently. This should mean that most people will have improved FPS in lobbies.
