This week's patch is here and it contains more updates to Badges, a redesign of the Personal Menu and some game balance changes!
You can now pin badges through the badges menu. Pinned badges are a way to display and show off your cool in-game accomplishments and any badges you pin will be available for all to see when they inspect you.
When you inspect another player, you can view the badge that they have pinned - this will even tell you when they completed it! That means you can compete with your friends to see who can unlock a badge first
Clicking on the badge will also let you view their entire badge collection, so you can see just how good they are at the games on the Island!
At the moment, you can only pin one badge at a time - but keep an eye out for new ways to unlock more slots in the future
Viewing Badge Stages
You can now scroll through the stages of your badges to view previous stages. Scroll Left to see your previous stages and right to go forward a stage!
Each previously unlocked stage will show the date that you achieved that badge. When you unlock a new badge, you will now need to open the badges menu to claim the badge, similar to how the Wardrobe works when unlocking a new cosmetic!
Personal and Inspect Menus
We've also given both the Personal Menu and the Inspect Menu have been redesigned, with new visuals, icons and more to make it a little easier (and prettier) to get around!
Ooh are those icons for future features we see?
Additionally, we’ve also made a series of balancing changes to TGTTOS and Battle Box.
- Water Park: Added a barrier at the start of the map to avoid huge launches from the slapstick and crack shot modifiers.
- Sky Dive: Disabled the TNT modifier.
- Spark of Speed: Increased the effect duration from 1.2 seconds to 1.5 seconds.
- Mines - Map kit changes:
- Sharpshooter: Removed 6 Arrows.
- Flanker: Added 6 Arrows.
- Train Station - Map kit changes:
- Sharpshooter: Removed Timed Orb of Harming, added Spark of Speed.
We hope you enjoy this update and we’ll see you on the Island!
